High Temperature Insulation Fibres

Ceramic fibre products are offered in several forms to accommodate a variety of industrial applications where the following attributes are required:

BLANKET -
Nutec Fibratec Ceramic Fibre Blanket is composed of long, flexible, interwoven fibres manufactured by the "Blown" process and the "Spun" process yielding a strong, lightweight yet durable blanket for applications in a temperature range up to 1480°C (2700°F).  The blanket has the heat resistance of a hard refractory with five times better insulation value.  Nutec Fibratec Supermag Blanket is a high temperature body soluble fibre that utilizes a spinning technology to create a special fibre with superior thermal and mechanical properties and a continuous temperature use to 1100°C (2012°F).  
   
BOARD - Nutec Fibratec Ceramic Fibre Board is a lightweight refractory material processed with alumina silica fibres for applications up to 1650°C (3000°F).  Densities range from 256-400 Kg/m3 (16-25 lbs/ft3) and thicknesses are ½" up to 3" and standard lengths of 36" and 48".  
   
MODULES - Nutec Fibratec Weld-Tite Modules are fabricated from continuous folded blanket under compression.  Qualities are available with the following use limit; 1260°C (2300°F), 1315°C (2400°F), 1425°C (2600°F), 1482°C (2700°F).  Stellar Canada Inc. supplies the installation equipment to apply these modules.  Nutec Fibratec modules can be supplied with several different hardware attachments or without hardware attachments to suit any application.  
   
PAPER - Nutec Fibratec Ceramic Fibre Paper is a lightweight refractory material processed from a blend of high purity alumina-silica fibers into a highly flexible, uniform sheet.  Available in 24" & 48" widths with standard thicknesses of 1/8" & 1/4 ". 
   
MOLDABLE - Nutec Fibratec Moldable is used to prevent heat loss caused by the deterioration of an existing lining and can be installed using a trowel, a caulking gun or pump.  It is supplied in 2 lb. caulking tubes or 5 gal. plastic pails.
