MAFTEC®  - Mitsubishi Alumina Fiber Technology was developed in the 1980's by Mitsubishi Plastics Inc. for long term high or cyclic temperature operation.  MAFTEC® "Polycrystalline Alumina Fibers" exhibit excellent thermal stability, resiliency, erosion resistance and mechanical strength at temperatures to 1600°C - 2912°F.

STELBOLTTM. was designed to both repair and compliment existing furnace linings.   STELBOLTTM. can easily penetrate and hold onto a refractory fiber, insulating firebrick or light weight monolithic lining. 

For repairs, a blanket patch can be placed over a damaged area and very simply the STELBOLTTM
is drilled or ratchet driven through the new hot face and into the back up lining.  STELBOLTTM will easily penetrate wallpaper, modules and low density board linings.  No mark-out required, simply STELBOLTTM  as required.
