THERMBOND® - A Patented Refractory System
02-03-2012
Thermbond® is a two part system (dry formulation and liquid activator), that when added together form a unique Ionically Bonded Refractory. Thermbond® inhibits penetration of molten metal, dross and slag, resists thermal shock and adheres permanently to itself and other surfaces.
- Fast Mixing
- Rapid curing
- Fast heat-up
- Bonds permanently
- Uniform lining strength
- Thermal shock resistant
- Naturally non-wetting
FIBERSTONE - High Temperature Refractory Metal
02-03-2012
FIBERStone is a combination of high temperature ceramic materials and specially alloyed stainless steel fibers. It is supplied as a precast shape specially engineered for your application. FIBERStone is very effective as a replacement for metal parts that are destroyed by process heat and a wide variety of molten metal contact applications.
- Engineered for quick installation
- Thermal shock resistant
- Mechanical shock resistant
- Withstands impact
- Cost effective against any system
CERAMITE® - Superior Wear & Abrasion Resistance
02-03-2012
Ceramite® is a family of advanced ceramics incorporating inorganic composite materials and densely packed micro particles. Ceramite® is formulated to yield high abrasive wear resistance, excellent mechanical strength, resistance to high temperature and thermal shock conditions. Ceramite® is supplied as custom cast, hi-fired shapes or as a trowellable formulation for on-site application.
- Unique heat resistance with temperatures up to 2700°F (1482°C)
- Low porosity against chemical attack and gases
- Ultra-high wear resistance & mechanical strength
- Increased operating lifetime

NEW STELBOLT VIDEO
02-03-2012
Stellar Canada Inc. is proud to announce and present STELBOLTTM.
STELBOLTTM. was designed to both repair and compliment existing furnace linings. STELBOLTTM. can easily penetrate and hold onto a refractory fiber, insulating firebrick or light weight monolithic lining.
For repairs, a blanket patch can be placed over a damaged area and very simply the STELBOLTTM is drilled or ratchet driven through the new hot face and into the back up lining. STELBOLTTM will easily penetrate wallpaper, modules and low density board linings. No mark-out required, simply STELBOLTTM as required.
